Designer Profile

At Galvin + Rode Design we believe design is and always will be personal. The unique collaboration and personal relationships we develop with our clients are essential for the successful outcome of our projects. We create for your specific environment, keeping comfort, functionality and your lifestyle in mind. Solutions result from communication: asking thoughtful questions and listening to your requirements, wants, and needs. Honoring and managing your budget is essential.

For us it is very important that our designs reflect our clients' lifestyle while ensuring the process is comfortable, exciting and fun. Years of experience enable us to crystalize your dreams and give you a home that is more than you imagined but exactly what you want.

Our clients return to us for additional phases of work, ask us to guide the planning for a dream remodel, or design a new kitchen or bathroom. Establishing the trust of our clients and engaging with them time and again is truly the reward of our work.

In addition, we relish all challenges to find antiques, unique objects and artwork or to rescue and repurpose your favorite pieces. We understand the needs and phases of families with children as each of us has raised daughters and sons.

We are happy to structure our design fees to fit comfortably with your budget by offering you choices: a per room flat fee, hourly or a consultation fee basis. Your project may work more smoothly by planning it in several stages of work with breaks in between.
