Deborah Davis is the CEO and principal designer of Deborah Davis Design, Inc., a residential and commercial firm offering complete interior design services. For almost two decades, Davis has created aesthetic and functional interiors for homes and offices, pairing her intuitive approach with her organizational and knowledge-based skills.

Davis holds a BS in Interior design from Illinois State University and is certified in the State of California as well as qualified by the nationally recognized N.C.I.D.Q. exam.

In the past, Davis has spent time as a Set Designer in various art department capacities, working in positions ranging from Coordinator to Production Designer on national commercials, music videos, and films with a number of talents including Snoop Dogg, Jason Alexander, Jason Swartzman, Red Buttons, and the rock group Train. Additionally, she has presented a winning design on the HGTV show, Designer’s Challenge.

In 2003 Davis was contracted by E! Entertainment to specify furniture and finishes for E! Network corporate spaces. Her work spans all arenas: from reconfiguring entire corporate workspaces, to designing private executive offices. Her designs may be seen in Ryan Seacress’ office, the E! Lobby, as well as the Celebrity Lounges.

Davis has had the honor of speaking at at UCLA, Woodbury University, and FIDM College to discuss her career and the scholarship opportunities offered by the Harold Grieves Educational Fund. She has been an active member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) since 1986, and helps to maintain the Los Angeles chapter that provides extensive networking and educational opportunities for the city’s professional interior design industry. Currently she is Past-President for the Los Angeles Chapter of ASID.

Services Offered

Part of the process in working with Davis Design can include:

-Scope Analysis: discuss project goals to determine whether the project involves remodeling or merely redecorating

-Budget Analysis: determine if the project should be broken down into phases to accommodate client’s budget

-Design Concept: work with client to develop their design vision using printed media

-Space Planning: develop furniture layout plans, incorporating new and existing furniture

-Purchasing Phase: if desired by client, select, purchase and install furnishings

-Window Treatment Design: provide drawings, fabric selection, and installation coordination for any custom window treatments

-Lighting Plan: produce lighting and switching plans to incorporate custom or select fixtures

Fee Structure

Initial consultation with Davis Design is complimentary. During that time, the scope of services and an estimate of hours will be established.

The hourly design rate for the principal designer is $150. The purchasing phase can be completed by the client or by Davis Design.

Larchmont Living Room:
A thorough remodel of this early 1900s era home allowed us to reveal the beautiful Craftsman Style woodwork and architectural details that had been covered up by previous residents. The result is a warm and inviting interior that showcases the elegance of the home’s historic elements.

KIIS FM Prefunction Area:

Greystone Bedroom:
In her design of the Greystone Estate salon, featured in the Beverly Hills 2006 Garden and Design Showcase, Deborah utilized a modern interpretation of the Hollywood Regency style. The existing architectural elements of the room influenced her selection of the color palette. Rich oranges and reds combined with eggplant accents were chosen to compliment the gold and orange tones of the woodwork. The end result is an inviting living space perfect for entertaining or relaxing with family and friends.

With the design of the open office spaces and common areas at E! Entertainment, Style Network, and the G4 Network, it has been the goal of the design team at Deborah Davis Design, Inc. to accommodate ongoing expansion and reconfiguration projects while staying consistent with the award winning building design completed by HOK in 1999. As E! Entertainment, Style Network, and the G4 Network continue to grow; original building components have been merged with new corporate re-branding elements utilizing a refined color scheme to reinforce that identity.
